In celebration of cancer survivors everywhere, Breakaway from Cancer hosts four Breakaway Miles at four stages of the Amgen Tour California. This one-mile walk is led by local cancer survivors and their friends, families and caregivers. Each Breakaway Mile features an Amgen scientist who plays a crucial role in developing breakthrough medicines. The Breakaway Miles aim to raise awareness of the Breakaway from Cancer initiative.
